Description

Blonde Ambition Chardonnay is a tribute to PJ Rex, the Winemaker’s Wife, who inspired Robert to become a winemaker. She also gives the place style. The Russian River Valley, with its mild summer weather, is our favorite appellation for Burgundian style Chardonnay. The Elieo Vineyard gives us full vine ripeness at lower sugar so the wine is subtle. Barrel selection, batonnage, and our Clean Wine® methods accentuate fruit and mouth feel with just a touch of oak and butter.
