The 2021 @Pinot is from the Carneros appellation at the southern end of Sonoma County where it touches the San Francisco Bay. True to its origins, it is gentle in color, delicate on the palate, delightfully complex and delicious. It is “top shelf” on a budget.
A great Pinot is delicate, not too dark, complex on the palate with gentle tannins. The flavors expand from the center of your palate outward. Pinot Noir is also one of the easiest wines to pair with food, as it goes with almost everything.
